Grainform converts images in your browser. We do not upload or store the images you choose, the grain artwork you make, or the files you download.

Image processing

Your image is decoded and processed on your device using browser canvas and a Web Worker. It is not sent to our servers or any other conversion service. When you replace an image or close the tab, the working pixels are released from the page.

Information needed to deliver the site

The static website host may process standard connection information such as an IP address, browser headers, and the requested page to deliver and secure the site. This is separate from your image, which stays in your browser. The site does not use analytics, advertising trackers, third-party fonts, or login cookies.

Local settings

Grainform does not save an account or project. Your current image and settings exist only in the open page. Your browser may keep downloaded files according to your normal download settings.
